Confusion Got Pixels? Here's a clear answer
Let's get straight to the, er, pixels.
The growth of the digital image, started with a colored dot or square (on the spot, pixel, etc.) on stage. Most of the points have jumped on stage, then thousands, then millions of people. Sometimes, the stage was extended, allowing the budget of other times during a gaming platform.
And so began the confusion.
Two different models of camera may state they were 8 MP, but the quality was far from equal. Why?
Please enter the image sensorSize. Remember this advice: choose the larger sensors.
In short, point-and-shoots have smaller sensors and jam a bunch of pixels on them. Theoretically, they should do it with just enough points to reach their saturation point. Beware of cameras that boast of being 15 MP (for example) and not on the size of the sensor comfortably accommodate that number.
We prefer to participate in an event in a stadium that says it is possible, or 75,000 people in a nightclub, pausing assaid it might be suitable for the same amount?
A digital SLR has more space and thus leads to a greater dynamic range, signal to noise ratio and is more sensitive to low light.
My Canon 50D has a 15 MP sensor size of 22.3 x 14.9 mm (3.32 cm2). This corresponds to a pixel density of 4.5 mp/cm2 (lower density is preferred in this case). The Pro Canon EOS – 1D Mark III with 10 mp on a 28.7 x 18.7 millimeters (5.36 cm2) of the sensor and a density of 1.9 mp/cm2. Point-and-shoot Canon PowerShot D10is 12 mp, 6.16 x 4.62 millimeters (0.28 cm2) and 43 mp/cm2.
Of these three models, the Mark III is the smallest number of pixels, but higher density. This becomes the best of the trio. Make a poster print and you will see the difference. The Mark III is printed less grain and not so much pixelation Show / blockiness than the other two examples.
Pixelation occurs when the image is magnified to the point where you can see the actual pixels. It then examines the blocks andundesirable. Be careful when using the extension point and shoot. Be safe when blown DSLR photos.
Pixels apart, point-and-shoot digital SLR in the year of admission, as in sports. How many times have you pressed the button and waited for the point-and-shoot to concentrate, and finally, take the picture? Exactly. Choose a good digital SLR.
If you are concerned about congestion and would be a camera that fits comfortably in your pocket or glove compartment of the car, preferablyShoot Point-and-fit the bill.
